Ten years in the making

It started the way the best stories do—by accident.

In 2015, two separate worlds collided during senior year of high school when a rerouted pregame packed everyone into the same car and quietly set everything in motion. Different circles, different routines, yet something immediately clicked. Matching white and black Grand Cherokees became a running joke. Nights blurred into mornings at the beach, friends filled couches, breakfast appeared as if by magic, and somewhere in the chaos, a simple moment made it clear this wasn't just fun—it was the beginning of something real.

They didn't rush it—but everyone felt it.

By spring, it was official. Prom, graduation, and a summer that felt endless followed: jet skis to Fire Island, bonfires, graduation parties, and not a single day apart. When college pulled them 2,770 miles away from each other, the choice stayed simple. Monthly flights turned into a shared life in Miami—study dates under palm trees, Wynwood walks, late nights, boat days, and a home that became a revolving door of best friends. Then Cannoli arrived, making their little world feel complete.

Real life eventually showed up—careers, commutes, and growing pains.

After graduation, they traded Miami sunsets for New York hustle—two careers, one tiny apartment, and a lot of learning how to be adults together. They survived escape rooms, flooded cars, snowboard wipeouts, city moves, and buying a fixer-upper, always backed by the people who shaped them. Every challenge only made them stronger.

Ten years after that first chance meeting, Kyle proposed in Zermatt.

Surrounded by the Swiss Alps, after a helicopter ride to pristine powder, he asked the question that had been building for a decade. She said yes—of course she did. From growing up to growing forward, they've always chosen each other.

This September, surrounded by the people who shaped their journey, Kyle and Nicole will finally say "I do."
